Art Exploration through Literature
Little ones will listen to stories and create projects inspired by these stories. Basic concepts will be introduced, and a variety of materials will be explored!
This is an eight-week class.

NEW! Animal Art for Kids
Red, yellow, blue...rabbits, yaks, and birds, too! Learn about your favorite animals while playing with colored pencils, paint, chalk, and oil pastel. You’ll also be able to tell your family and friends about “artsy” things like the primary colors plus a lot more art facts including history, terms, and famous artists!
This is an eight-week class.

Visual Arts for the Home Schooler
Calling all home schoolers! This class is a visual arts course designed for enriching the home schooling experience. We will create projects using different mediums. This class coincides with the Literary Arts for the Home Schooler class. Please see page 7.

NEW! Green for Good
Go Green! This class will reduce, reuse, and recycle while creating art! Students will learn about the environment and how to reduce ecological damage. “Found objects” artworks of Louise Nevelson and Robert Rauschenberg will be explored along with learning about African “thousand milers” and recycled folk art. Students will be asked to bring in some found and recycled objects to use for their projects.

Fashion Illustration
If you have a passion for fashion, then this is the class for you! No sewing here. Fashion design starts with a sketch. Learn the basic rules of fashion illustration, explore color theory, create a presentation board, and more.

It’s Sew Simple!

COOKING FOR KIDS DAY CAMPS
Express yourself with cooking! We will learn how to make healthy but still very yummy meals and snacks, as well as how to use kitchen utensils, the oven/stove, and (parents: cover your kids’ eyes and ears) how to clean up after our cooking
adventures! At the end of each camp this fall session, parents are invited to join us and enjoy our creations! *Parents (up to 2) are invited to the dinner. Please list on registration form any food allergies.

Evening Ceramics
Use both hand-built and wheel
methods as a great introduction to ceramics and the techniques used to create them. Tuition includes up to
25 pounds of clay and the use of glazes, tools and firings. Students will be
